About Us
The Bolivar-Harpers Ferry Public Library is here to provide materials and services to fit the needs of the patrons. We aim to provide residents with access to a variety of resources.
The library was established in 1977 in response to the Library Services Act. This library is one of the 53 libraries built between 1965-1977, to better serve the West Virginia communities. Our quaint library resides in Jefferson County, in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, with a population of approximately 57,000 people. The Library is close to the Harpers Ferry National Park and Appalachian Trail. The library is for everyone.
The Bolivar-Harpers Ferry Public Library meets West Virginia Public Library standards and is accredited by the State of West Virginia.
